The fun filled 'All at Sea Saturday' is a family orientated event with an array of free activities including the Build-a-Boat Competition and Regatta, wooden boat displays, cooking demonstrations, 'come rowing events' and much more.
The Mayor of Albany Councillor Greg Stocks will launch of the Albany St Ayles Skiff Project on Saturday 29th June as part of the Albany Maritime Festival. The launch will be followed by a skiff regatta featuring boats from around the state.
The Albany Maritime Foundation and the City of Albany are sponsoring a Public Lecture: ‘Through Darkest Seas’ – A History of the Duyfken by author Graeme Cocks. Tickets ($5) are available from the City of Albany, or at the door. The event is BYO licenced. Refreshments, included in the ticket price also available.
